TREATY OF THE INDENTED (DRAFT 47)

Article 1. Both parties acknowledge that the other party exists.

Article 2. Python files will use 4 spaces, because Python said so and Python has a large following.

Article 3. Makefiles will use tabs, because Make will literally refuse to run otherwise, and nobody negotiates with Make.

Article 4. Go files will use whatever gofmt says, and gofmt will not be taking questions.

Article 5. All other matters are deferred to the project's formatter config, and anyone who argues with the formatter config will be sent to Article 1.

Signed, under protest, with a trailing semicolon;

-- I was optional before it was cool.

Thread locked. The treaty has a mixed-indentation line. I'm not saying which one. It's article 3. It's ironic.

-- Trailing whitespace is a cry for help.

🔒 This thread is locked. LINT_ROLLER is pleased.
